Description  
Energol RC-R compressor oils are formulated from highly refined mineral base oils and incorporate additives that minimize oxidation, deposit-formation, enhance loading-carrying, and anti-wear properties, combat the effects of water-contamination and prevent corrosion. The formulation gives a balanced combination of anti-foam, air-release and filter blocking properties.
Energol RC-R compressor oils are used sucessfully throughout the world in stationary and
mobile equipment.

• High resistance to oxidation, hence low deposit-forming tendencies.
• Zinc-free formulation, to minimize oil-filter blockage in the presence of water.

Applications and Approvals
Energol RC-R grades are ashless oils recommended for the lubrication of rotors, bearings
and gears in rotary compressors, especially the oil-flooded screw type with delivery temperatures up to 120°C.
Energol RC-R compressor oils are also be used in reciprocating equipment where the air
discharge temperature is below 120 °C.
The performance of the Energol RC-R oils exceeds the requirements of the draft ISO specification for oil-flooded rotary air-compressors, categories ISO-L-DAG and DAH.
These oils are approved by Atlas Copco, Compair Industrial and Consolidated Pneumatic (CPT).

Storage  
Proper standards of storage and handling are necessary with all lubricants. Packages should be treated with care at all stages, to prevent contamination of their contents and damage to containers. Where outdoor storage of packages is unavoidable, they should preferably be covered. Storage temperatures should not fall below 5°C above the grade's Pour Point, nor exceed 50°C. Any water that is allowed to accumulate on top of a drum can cover the bung and eventually cause the drum markings to obliterate and become illegible. Drums should therefore stand tilted or rest horizontally.

Castrol Rustilo DWX 30

DESCRIPTION
Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 is a light brown dewatering fluid which, on evaporation of the solvent, deposits an ultra-thin protective film. Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 has very thin, slightly greasy film characteristics.

APPLICATIONS
Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 has been used as a mild press working lubricant where it gives protection to the workpiece without additional treatment. The ultra-thin film gives excellent rust preventive properties for inter-operational protection.

 A particular feature of Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 is its ability to suppress the corrosion attack that may be caused by fingerprints which is particularly important in the protection of highly finished surfaces.

Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 should be used preferably by immersion, but if impractical can be applied by spraying.

Castrol SE Fluid 180 is a very light viscosity “water white” mineral oil with relatively high flash point. It is designed to provide optimum rates of metal removal with minimum electrode wear.

APPLICATION  
Castrol SE Fluid 180 is used as a dielectric medium for electrode discharge machines (normally referred to as EDM). The viscosity of the fluid selected classes Castrol SE Fluid 180 as a universal 
fluid.

The Castrol Spheerol L-EP grease range consists of lithium base greases containing extreme pressure additives in addition to corrosion and oxidation inhibitors.

APPLICATIONS
Castrol Spheerol L-EP greases are used on bearings operating under heavy and shock load conditions in a variety of automotive, industrial and marine applications.

Castrol Magna GC 32, BD 68 and CF 220 are specially formulated slideway lubricants for machine tools, designed to work in conjunction with the new generation biostable cutting fluids.

在我印象中，有几十年了。“相等的；相当的“也可能有上百年了。在以科技一直在进步，这 相等的；相当的（Equivalent）的依据也有其一定的跟据。对市场的需求日益增加，紧接着竞争距大配合世界工业迅速增长，造就石油工业百花齐放。各种品牌有如雨后春笋，林立整个市场。在各个市场中，因为有不同的品牌销售，为了方便销售，各个品牌都有一套“ 相等的；相当的（Equivalent）”方法。其中因为各个主要的机械引擎开发工厂，都有一个规格，即各个品牌也依据其规格开发适当的润滑油。因此各个品牌根据同一个规格生产的润滑油，就有了其“ 相等的；相当的（Equivalent）”润滑油了。

到了二十世纪后期，这套方法也在运用中，其依据主要的还是必须跟据开发工厂的规格。然而当时的市场环境需求更日益增加，机械引擎制造厂也林立，各种规格都有其一样和不同。如此多个规格导致几个主要学术机构的成立，以作统一规格管理与研发，造就了目前规格的简易识别性。

突然想写有关环保的慨念,

环保与润滑油之间,有着非常重要的联系。 世界上均有各个领域的环保项目。在开发引擎,燃油,润滑油也不间断开发与研究,务必逐步提升各方面的环保与其规格。 毕竟二氧化碳的排放量也是重点之一。

但是主要的动力,基本上还是我们的动力。而我希望针对润滑油方面,写点资讯以供各位参考和协作。若各位朋友可提供任何资讯,岂不美哉。

据我的资料显示,马来西亚环境保护(一九七四年)法令,在持续不断的由一九七七至二零零七修订法案,促使此法令配合世界性的规格及其功能全面性,和先进性.在这十年来,其发展与推行依旧在进行中.可预见环保的慨念正努力地在灌输给普罗大众。希望大家的协作可造就一个美丽的地球环境给我们的下一代。

跟据马来西亚环境保护法令与修订法案，各个企业，工业与商业领域倘若有购买使用，库存使用，修理使用以及更换。。有关的润滑油。都必须依照其回收程序，主要是确保已使用过的废油，妥善的处理而不致以随便倒掉。这废油不但破坏土地里的自然生物，污染河道和地下水源，进而破坏周边环境。优如在我家的花草树木浇油，自来水缸里倒油似的。除了以上回收的提案，在工地或工厂里也必须有隔油槽，并有小沟涵盖整个范围来引导。预防废油不慎泄漏而流出户外的排水道，进而流入河流并破坏环境。

目前，市场上多数中小型企业因为非法回收废油的价格较高都没有登记，报表回收与记录。希望各位中小型企业主不因回收废油的价格而论。务必跟进回收程序，以防未来环境部的审查导致罚款。

崭新的市场策略 VS 商业生存之道

销售网络的市场策略。 有言道 “人多好办事”。在这现代的社会族群里，尤其人类属于群体活动型的。所以在市场销售网络策略上，产品优良品质佳，消费者们的众说纷纷，销售网络的商号参与促销，再加上油公司的促销礼品，如此多管齐下的方式，实必销售到满堂红并有如大江之水，涛涛不绝。

在现代的社会里，同时拥有两股以上不同观点的人群。有赞成的，有反对的，也有中庸的。而可以成功影响一群支持者来拥护，可真不容易，其中包括消费者，商号或其他有关机构。大家一致的拥护，其商业活动和宣传效果必定倍增。相反的，若未拥有消费者与商号的支持，商业活动和宣传的努力必需事倍功半了。这是因为负面的侵入导致正面拓展受到压制。而拥有如此成功市场策略的，又有多少人会了解其支持度得来不易。。而感恩和感激呢？

这几年来，国际资本主义成为大势所趋的商业摸式，究其本末的演变。固定供应网络，固定销售网络，即固定商业摸式。这种一栏子的固定摸式，说穿了就是资本主义造就贫富悬殊的其中一种摸式。然而“合久必分，分久必合”，所有的固定摸式，久了也不会固定的。

商业摸式在大势所趋的演变中，不断改变为附和其生存之道。倘若一栏子的固定摸式强势运作，毕竟会遭受到一定的压制，造成支持拥护者转向成负面的拓展。其中得失也只有当势者可斟酌了。

润滑油产品的供应链 ?!

供应润滑油产品的供应链。

基以供应润滑油产品的商业活动中，成本及利润为主要的考量。而油公司也基以其成本及利润的考量，而选择减少某个产品 ，导致缺乏某个产品的市场涵盖性及个别供应服务性的策略。而这种现象近年来被引用。但无论在于产品的容量规范以及产品的缺乏都在冲击着原有的市场版图。同时也因市场上缺乏了发展提升教育引导的相关资讯，导致无所替代的困局。

市场在成长及发展中，全方位的大，中，小及微型企业在市场各自持续的成长及发展，而造就经济飞腾。忽略了中，小及微型企业市场的需求与服务，其发展有如长江断流，毫无前景可言。基本上市场运作有如车轮般的循环，在承接车轮迅速的旋转中，迈向前方。其车由心的承担足影响全方位的前进。

我希望在润滑油产品的供应链上，可以本着产品，服务，资讯及品质，而全方位供应市场需求与服务。这种现象也才配称得上品牌，兼优质的服务。

记 ： 曾几何时，有一个企业主告诉我， “之前，本公司用油量少。某个品牌竟然嫌少而又没有提供资讯，也没有服务。而只推说没有” “也不介绍谁可以帮忙”，“而最近因本公司发展，用油量也大大提升，他们才会出现。”， “ 解释说之前因为这产品没有小容量的，所以供应不到。” 企业主告诉他 “谢谢了，有一个品牌有小容量的，现在那个品牌也有大容量的。” 。。。。。。！

侧试与侧量 -- 成功的取舍

品牌与非品牌，品质管理与没品质管理 ？ 

生产线上，由原料至半成品。。后至成品。其中的各种添加剂的份量，与规格监管。完成产品后侧试与侧量，方能出产，包庄至销售。加上售后服务或投诉跟进服务。我个人认为这才称得上是品牌。

在选择写这篇博文时，主要想说油公司。当写到这里突然发现“侧试与侧量”更应该与各位分享在各自的工业领域上。

在各位的工业领域，若贵公司购买润滑油时，应该运用侧试与侧量来鉴定：1/油品质量，2/使用期， 3/定时侧试与侧量油品质量。 从中了解润滑油真确的使用期，从而也可断定各种品牌的品质。然而不只是以价格来考量，但也以其品质使用期来鉴定。。。创造利润。

有一些企业主在与我咨询时，往往都以价格为主。显示出不了解品质良好的产品，其使用期较长。而我也只好跟据市场需求而供应。有时价格容许，我都选择品质良好的产品来销售。然而创造利润毕竟以“侧试与侧量”为依据。而侧试与侧量的费用，数量也是考量因素之一。

水箱的护理！

水箱的护理主要防腐蚀及生锈。基本上汽车厂商都有在说明书列明护理期限。以及冷却液渗清水的分量。其中也有提道冷却液的规格含量。

在市场上，众多汽车水箱普偏上都有腐蚀及生锈的现象。其主要原因如 ：-

一 错过护理期限。  一但错过护理期限，腐蚀及生锈已开始就不可能护理如新一般。而护理期限必须相对缩短。

二 冷却液渗清水的分量也是重要的一环。一但弄错其分量，相对的护理期限缩短，而腐蚀及生锈的现象也会出现。

冷却液除了防腐蚀及防锈，它也能防止水份过度蒸化或沸腾。

监管，润滑油，护理的资讯

据我们多年来在市场上的经验，了解到众多机械拥有者都因为误用润滑油，没有监管及不定时护理。造成机械长期磨损，最终损坏至无可挽救。

在机械的世界里，护理是尤其重要的粮食；润滑油好比食水；监管尤如生活规例。而往往多数中小型企业为了当下利润的表现却忽略了机械长期运作的基本护理而损坏和维修。导致了长期隐藏性的亏损而不得知，频频维修也不可能挽救回机械的寿命期了。

大中型企业对以护理监管及科技技术都抱持严谨及了解跟进的态度。也有工程师驻守确保机械运作流程顺畅，造就企业长期的发展。对以中小型企业在这方面的失误，我们希望尽一点勉力在供应润滑油时，尽可能提供有关护理的资讯。乃多数企业基本上介以价格的问题怯步。

在此举一个例子：- 

目前市面上有一类引擎（EURO 2 Engine), 多数拥有者都以根据厂商的规格使用API CH4 15w40 润滑油定时（10,000km)护理。而因为价格稍微贵50%而以API CF 15w40润滑油来替代。确不得知后者的定时护理是5000km。在资讯不得知的情况下定时（10,000km)护理，而造成机械长期磨损。

引擎润滑油的基本认识

 我们认为大多数消费者对以引擎润滑油的选择只局限於品牌，而往往忽略了粘度等级 ( Viscosity )的重要性。无可否认，品牌公司必定着重於品质管理。并且在其产品区分出不同粘度等级，分别供给各种不同的引擎使用。只是大多数消费者都忽略了。

粘度等级 ( Viscosity )　主要分成两种 ：单一等级 (mono-grade) 和多重等级(multi-grade)

单一等级 (mono-grade) 如：- SAE30, SAE40, SAE50

多重等级 (multi-grade) 如： 0W30, 10W30, 15W40, 15W50, 20W40, 20W50 ..... 

当年的研发多重等级粘度(multi-grade viscosity)润滑油主要针对温带国家有四季之分，因为单一等级粘度 (mono-grade viscosity) 润滑油在春秋两季都必须换不同的润滑油。后来发现在热带国家也享有使用多重等级粘度(multi-grade viscosity)润滑油的好处。主要是多重等级粘度(multi-grade viscosity)润滑油在引擎冷却时，启动后润滑油的粘度较快润滑引擎内部。

使用SAE40 和 15W40来比较。引擎冷却时启动，使用15W40的引擎，震动消减多了。同时磨损也减少了。也有客户使用20W40，其效果也很好。

润滑油的颜色代表品质？

在市场上，众多消费者普偏上认为润滑油的颜色深浅代表好坏，也代表浓厚或稀薄。主要原因是数十年来的惯性使然。

在现今日新月异的年代，随着科技的进步及研发，润滑油的颜色已经不能作这般的解释了。以上均为两种基础油，属以同一种浓度类型。只是在原油提炼成基础油的过程不同。

They are Chicago-based Boncosky Oil Co.; Commercial Ullman Lubricants Co. of Ohio; Lubricant Technologies LLC, which is active in the Carolinas and Georgia; and Young Oil Co. of South Florida. They have announced plan to consolidate operations and form a new company namely, PetroLiance LLC.

By combining the resources of all four companies, PetroLiance will be, by far, the largest ExxonMobil distributor in each of the market in which it operates, according to Kevin McCarter, who will serve as the organization's chief executive.

My own business experience bears out that this type of distributorship merger would not be viable in Asian countries, especially the Chinese market. Obviously, it's true that the general unwillingness of most Chinese companies to think long term is pervasive in Asia. I also have found this be true with respect to some traditional industries such as oils, and lubricants. This contrasts with the prevalent western view that they have longer view in conducting businesses. However, based  on this business case, I cannot simply concluded that Chinese companies do not have business strategy, though they certainly do not used to hired a strategy consultant as BP or other Fortune 500 firms do, they have their own strategy in conducting businesses, they just simply run their businesses based on contingency view. Moreover,  as Chinese businessmen gain business experience and as their confidence in the staying power of Chinese capitalism increases, i strongly believe their thinking will become more long term as well.

As I observed the work process of my staff at my office, a phenomenon interested me a lot. They normally test the thickness or purity of lubricant through their fingers. Some said this kind of practice required a lot of experiences. You can imagine one could test a lubricant whether it is good or bad by just using their fingers. I believed my staff would never realize in their entire life, they have a god gifted asset in them : fingers that could compare the quality of lubricants. I surely named it ; The Million Dollars Fingers. For a certain number of people in this industry, they are highly skeptical of this method. They perceived this is outdated method, out-fashion, or this method not compliance to ISO standards.

You wonder, by way of comparison, which ways is more reliable, by testing the lubricant through fingers or a machine ? I really don't know. I wonder you know it as well...
