DESCRIPTION
Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 is a light brown dewatering fluid which, on evaporation of the solvent, deposits an ultra-thin protective film. Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 has very thin, slightly greasy film characteristics.
APPLICATIONS
Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 has been used as a mild press working lubricant where it gives protection to the workpiece without additional treatment. The ultra-thin film gives excellent rust preventive properties for inter-operational protection.
BENEFITS
A particular feature of Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 is its ability to suppress the corrosion attack that may be caused by fingerprints which is particularly important in the protection of highly finished surfaces.
Components can be air gauged without removing film.
Excellent water displacing properties.
Good demulsification.

METHOD OF USE
Castrol Rustilo DWX 30 should be used preferably by immersion, but if impractical can be applied by spraying.
PROTECTION
Indoors : 9 months
Outdoors : 3 months
The period specified for outdoor use assumes primary protection from the elements by tarpaulin or another form of cover.
REMOVAL
Normally not necessary, but if required, petroleum solvents, vapour degreasing or suitable alkaline cleaner may be used.
